Sounds like it will be a fun trip! Good luck for the no tickets parts. Come to think of it, I'm leaving for Santa Fe later this week, so if you blast by a Denali trailering a 996TT, that'll be me. However, I'll be going the I-10 route and in the middle of the night.

I hear you - we are doing I-40 during the day. I've done this route 3x before, but I never like to press my luck!
