Thanks for the compliments. It was sad to see that poor 250TR on the flatbed. What wasn't sad was when we walked by to stop and see the following unloaded from a single flatbed:

288 GTO
F40
275 GTB
Daytona Spider
Alfa Romeo TZ-1 Zagato

Of course, as they were getting these cars off the transporter a boatload of sick muscle cars and customs rolled by. No pics unfortunately - I'm enjoying it with my own eyes this time.
Oh man... I can't wait to get out there! Snap some pics next time, will ya?!

Thanks for the weather update. Now I know what to pack!

Can't give more reps to you Chris, but thanks for sharing this trip with us. I am going to have to go next year, and try the subs at Compagno's.

However, I do think you should post some pictures of the sights there.

I posted a ton of pics last year (remember the orange Lancia Stratos?), and I really wanted to just enjoy the show this time. Plus, Alex and Travis will have much more energy (and access) than I will to take pics.

Pics from last year: https://teamspeed.com/forums/off-top...-2008-a-3.html

I can't emphasize to you guys what an icon Compagno's is in Monterey. He is routinely voted best in Monterey year after year. The fact that he's a great guy and really took care of me when I was there make it a whole different level. He provided the cake for my wedding a couple years ago...

Orlando - I usually don't go to any concours events. The typical person there finds me undesirable.

Chris, were you able to put the cap back on the bottle of mouthwash this morning without cross-threading the cap?

Yep, I survived. I am probably the most paranoid gas-cap-replacer-and-clicker in America now...
