Are you kidding?????????? Paddles that turn with the wheel but only operate up or down are preferable to the buttons that ALWAYS shift up when pushed in and ALWAYS shift down when pulled back??

Keep in mind that if Porsche does this conversion, the paddles WILL turn with the wheel. There is no chance that is preferable to the buttons. I drive using shuffle steering and the buttons are EASY to find in a hurry (push in either one or pull back either one).

I understand the reasons people like paddles, but the auto-x argument is the least convincing.
