The previous owner of my car had the PSE installed. I have driven a 996 without it and thought it sounded nice. Then I drove my current car with the PSE and couldnt go back. Love the sound. Coupled with the K&N and they car roars when it climbs the RPMs

Welcome to TS btw. I'm considering getting a used PSE for my 997 (guy wants $800 for it). I'm up in the air about it since there are no real performance gains, just sound but at the same time, it's a good price.

Do you have a button to turn yours on and off?

Thanks, No I dont have a button to turn it on and off. Its not too loud. Porsche has that valve that opens at 3500 or whatever so when I am cruising on the highway there is no drone and barely a noise to be heard.

My suffest is to jump on it for 800 bucks. You wont regret it. May have no real performance gain but it makes using the HP you have 10x more fun
