987 Sports Exhaust below 93 DB
I love the sound of the Boxster 3,4, but i know it has the potential to sound much deeper and thats what i'm looking for, not necessarily more power, dosn't hurt and its okay if it less weight.
anyone knows something to look at ?
The important part is that it dosn't hit 94-95 DB at 6-7000 rpm full throttle and ar comfortable under that and dosnt get near that when its used.
The reason is that we here in Europe has alot of attention on noise from racetracks, so along history short the limit is 95 db and it don't get better in fact it could be less over the next years.
We do alot of tracking so its kind of important.

In your case, the original Porsche Sport Exhaust sounds like a good idea.
It will give you the opportunity to drive in "silent" mode when the track regulations demand it.
It's slightly louder than the standard exhaust even in "silent" mode, but I doubt it will be a problem.

I dont think the Porsche Sports exhaust will go over even in Sports mode, a GT3 dos, i was after a deep solid sound, heard about some that rearrange the original rear silencer but could be nuce to save some weight in the process.
