Modified 996 turbo reliability

Hello all. Currently I have a modified sl600 as a daily driver. It is just as reliable as the stock vehicle but lots more fun. My only complaint is traction! I am considering changing it up and buying one of these 700+ hp 911s out there. Is the reliability and daily driving ability still there on these cars? Anybody have one in southern fl?

Hi post pics of your SL please

Is it the TT V12 one?

Ask Sharkwerks, he's a member on here and tunes probably one of the most knowledgeable guys on tuned Porsches.

Have you considered fitting a Limited Slip Diff on your SL600 ?

Makes a huge difference, I've got it installed on my SLK55. Huge improvement.

traction is fine. reliability? all depends. i've gone through a motor (pre-sharkwerks) & a tranny. as 996tt's get older, more problems are surfacing.
