IMHO, black is no bueno. Silver is MUY bueno. Personally, I don't like when the entire wheel is black. You need some contrast to break the lines...like a silver/polished lip. I guess it's the photographer in me talking.

Go with gunmetal/graphite instead of black, it will match the blue much better but set the car apart from those with silver wheels. Think matte...

i think it only looks cheap because its a flat black or powder coat, but a gloss black with the blue lip might be very unique.
