Coochas: I get it on the GT2. But how does this apply to the N/A cars where there is no boost to build. Do you just hit a button, pop the clutch and let the computer do the rest?

That's what I would guess it does. While I've never dumped my clutch, I have felt the horrible wheel hop when accelerating. I think a little computer finesse wouldn't be such a bad thing for the 997 for off the line starts.

If I floor my 997 and dump the clutch bad things are going to happen. For one, I'm not going to have a clutch much longer. I'm curious to see how this actually works out. Afterall, a computer can't save a clutch. I wonder if it feathers the throttle while the clutch is engaging (which is something it took me years of 911 driving to master with my foot).
