30HP Increase on the S, 7 speed PDK, LED's, touchscreen PCM, DVB tv/Bluetooth, etc.

 

Launch control on PDK... 385 hp sounds awesome.

 

There is a lot of stuff there they needed...that's cool.

Oh man, now I am really drooling at the prospect of the updated GT3/Turbo...

 

I hear ya man!
My dealer is not sure what the future of the turbo holds. He has heard one rumor that the DFI/PDK will hit the turbo when the turbo S is released. There is another rumor that there will be no turbos next year which neither of us believes.
My plan is to wait and see what performance gains (IF ANY) the PDK brings to the 997S which we should know about in the next few months. I am considering PDK mainly because I do so much city driving, but unless it's a real winner in terms of all around performance I think I'll 'stick' with a manual.

The other thing to do is to wait for DJ or some other kind soul to ferret out another Porsche document leaking the turbo details!
