Clutch/Brake life on 09 Turbos
Ok so had an 07 Turbo before and really miss the car. Had 16k miles on the car when I sold it with no issues. Just curious though how many miles are people getting out of the stock clutch and the steel brakes? Just dont want to buy a car with 10k-20k and few k miles later need to replace these items. Thanks for the time.

I have an 07 TT. I have over 46K miles on it so far. I recently had the scheduled maintenance work done on it. The service people said that the clutch and brakes (steel) looked fine. So far everything on the car is original. I have only replaced tires and parts for maintenance work. I had one LED light go out on the front right and had the lighter replaced 2x (I think it's because I jammed my phone charger and ipod adapters inappropriately). Other than that, no problems.
I use it as a daily driver, but most of the miles on it are highway miles. I admit I do not drive the TT very hard. I have never tracked it. But as most of you know, Porsche builds very reliable cars. I am very happy I have spent this much time in the driver's seat and it has only cost me maintenance fees that are more than reasonable for a performance car of this level. I also prefer the manual. I have driven tips, PDK, GTRs, but driving in automatic is not the same. I plan to put over 100K miles on it.
