I like the 996s. If anything, maybe even more than the 997s.

This is why you drive a Crossfire.

Not a big 996 headlight fan, sorry. 997 is much more traditional.

997 turbos are *way* too busy - 996 turbo, imo, is one of the most beautiful and classic cars ever made, when ordered w/ the full carbon interior, of course. (997 interiors just seem off to me, but to each their own.)

the stance of a lowered 996 turbo, from the 1/4 front view with its fluid bulging hips, or from directly behind, is quite a thing in real life (rarely seen it captured in pictures.)

(and i think the 996 headlights look better too... )

I'm torn. I love the 997. I think it is a perfected 911. Now, the 996 to me was the start of a whole new era of 911's and you have to respect that. When the 996 came out with the turbo and the 4S, I thought they did and excellent job with those two cars. Then the 997 came out and was an improvement. It just goes to show you that Porsche strives every year to make the best car possible and they never fail!!!! I love and own a 996 C4S cab and would never get rid of it!

Definitely like the 997 better, lines are rounder ... not a fan of the 996, 986 or 987 fried egg lights ...

I don't understand how people don't like the 996. It's an amazing car.

I think 996s can look great. Definitely loved them back when they were new.
Here is my buddy's former car. 600hp with GT seats, Fikse wheels, etc.. Very fun to drive...

Had to pick a single porsche to have it would be the 356.

But I think the 996 really was a good looking car really good looking in aero kit form. Exceptional looking really when you think about when the car was designed and the leap it was from the 993, plus the companies finances at the time.

So I will add mine.
