We purchased this 2001 996 Turbo yesterday and went right to work on it.. I could feel the car wasnt right but thought " Hey, its a 9yo car and its stock with Exhaust ".. We did an oil change, didnt do plugs but probably should have.. Either way, we were shocked by the baseline.. Initially I though well its got 55k who knows when plugs were done.. We made 3 pulls to make sure the baseline was accurate and the car just wasnt acting funny on the initial pull. The graph was disgusting.. The car has Fabspeed Exhaust but Stock Filter.. Not ideal but its what we have.. Will give a chance later to add EVOMS intake and compare also..

We pulled the Ecu and when I went to crack it open i could see the silicone was already cut so someone was in the ECU.. I called up ToddZ @ EVOMS and sent him over the File.. I cant tell you what he saw but he said the Tune was pretty rough.. The TPS setting were off, Map was off etc..

Anyhow here is what we have Back to back from Tune A vs. EVOMSit.. This is on 1.0bar initially dropping to .9bar.. The Blue Line is TUNE A.. Look at how it goes up and down almost 50HP thru the entire powerband.. Then look at the EVOMSit Tune in Red.. Smooth thru the entire pull holding well over 400whp..
