New TT, 0-60 in 3 seconds. Freaking unbelievable.

Reading those #'s is one thing, seeing the car actually pull of a 0-60 3 seconds flat is something else.

Monster performer it may be, the 997TT still doesn't make my heart beat any faster...

What happened on 9:17!?!? Did the Viper ran out of steam? The less power porsche just out ran it on the last part of the straight!

During the earlier part of the race, the Viper had more power coming out of the coner.

Why does anyone care?
Seriously, Turbos have been attaining these numbers for years with a few bucks tossed at any major tuner. Some of us know what these cars can really do and to think some of you only get excited when the OEM does it is pathetic.

But when Porsche does it: it's a couple of Star Trek nerds clapping in the background.

Let me let you in on a secret: The Porsche 997 Turbo will DESTROY your Ferrari and do it with HONDA Civic reliabilty. OH and btw, after a 1m miles, you can turn it into a Blender for year to make Margaritas; then back into a Porsche.

Do THAT with your Ferrari.

Humph!

I completely and totally agree with you. No idea what the "turn it into a Blender for year to make Margaritas" means, but you are right. I this was a Ferrari the world would be in awe and pissing it's pants. Car and Driver got a Panamera, yea a 4000 pound sedan, to o-60 in 3.3 seconds. Faster than a Scuderia, 612 or a freaking California. Did the world poop is pants?
