but the scariest thing is that the REDLINE of the new motor is down to 6000 rpm. Why? is this a sign of it's weakness?

Hard to be interpreted as a sign of strength.

I feel all Porsches should use a Dry Sump. There will still be people taking their turbos to the track or will drive them aggressive. Porsche will have many warranty issues, with engines breaking down.

Or maybe looking into adding rear seats to the GT2/3...
The mk2 GT3 rear flooring has been thinned out to single sheet for weight reasons, so you won't be able to put rear seats in it. Maybe ok in the mk1 gt3, not sure though.

Wow, didn't know about that.

I know for a fact that you can do this in 996 GT2/3's with no issues, so I assume the same thing is true in 997 GT2/3's...

Guess not.

As I posted earlier, I think the jury is still out on two counts: 1) the GT1 vs new block, and all the rumors surrounding it, and 2) whether or not this '10 model has one over the other. See the Order Guide page below.

Bump, well, the question has been answered.

Wet sumper A91 it is. Not a happy day for the M64 fan here.
