Questions on passenger mirror drop in reverse

on the '09, I have the seat setting memorized, and have followed the manual through the mirror drop setting.

Question: do you HAVE to have the mirror selection switch turned to the passenger mirror to have the feature WORK?

I mean, yes, I understand selecting it to memorize and set it up, but I'm only seeing it activate in Reverse when the mirror selector is turned to that side.

Odd if so.

Still battling the TPMS system. What crap that thing is.

Yes, actually, I like the possibility to turn it off by not switching to the passenger side. I have a tight garage at how, too much crap no doubt and like to have the mirror not turning down when getting out of it.

OK, thanks.

Now if I could just get the TPMS working (tried it all, no luck)....and get the mods finished....I might be a happy camper soon!

You're having issues with the new shoes TPMS working? I believe you can override it and shut the system off- but AT the dealership.

Whats the ETA for everything to be complete?

If all goes well (and the weather has not been so far!), we should have 99% completion by weekend, then I get to spend a ridiculous amount of time detailing the beast....and heck, if I drink enough beers I might even read the freaking manual!

Who writes that thing anyway? Manuell again?

Yeah, TPMS does suck, but the new shoes have the sensors, and it worked for about a day, then it decided to vacate. We'll work on that Friday.

Won't have my discrete radar in place until a couple weeks later, so I really have to pay attention. And that is hard!

So far, the clutch, shift and overall driving experience has been nothing but stellar. Way ahead of the C4S Cab....WAY ahead. But hey, I'm preachin' to the choir here.

Thanks for the help!

I have not had one issue with my TPMS, I would say a quick 5 min stop by your dealer would fix this. I really on the TPMS every morning I drive the Turbo and it works like a charm. I hear people have problems with these things on all cars, it's because it's not set properly and you do not have equal tire pressures when resetting it.

Eric I spoke to my Master Mech. said that it needs to be calibrated properly otherwise defective 'sending units' from the wheels.

I've seen that multiple times.
