The 996TT is still one of the cars that impressed me the most when I drove in it for the first time.

So if 2nd gear pops out then a new gearbox is required?

What is the price of the 8 coolant hoses? Can these be replaced while the engine is in the car or does it absolutely require a drop?

What about the RMS issue? Want that also a notorious problem as well?

^^^ RMS isn't really an issue on the Turbo's as they run a different block (GT1 IIRC?) and dry-sump oil system.

You just have to look out for the RMS failures more on the N/A 996's.

Thanks!, I saw there is a fix from sharkwerks for the coolant pipe hose issue, but I did not see the wheel bearing issue
