Where are you getting that information.

I have it that only around 170 came to the US (discussed on many other boards). If that is the case and you scale by the usual proportions you don't get anything close to 800 and something much closer to 500. The sales numbers were disappointing because it was right after/during the financial crisis in 2009.

Further I find it hard to believe that Ferrari would be able to sell that many more cars than expected in a year like 2009.

Finally, if it is the case that so many are sold--with so many people tracking VINS--there would be hard evidence.

Where is your evidence that it is 800...that seems like an awfully high number? If the number is that far over--it should be easy to catch ferrari red handed...
