Guy drives over cops foot with a 458 Italia

Are you intoxicated? In what world did the driver make an attempt to talk to the officer? The officer was standing in front of his car writing a ticket and the owner got in the car, not asking him anything or acknowledging him. Also, his window was closed, so how was he trying to creep up and talk to the cop? Owner was a huge pvssy anyways.
I gotta agree here. I've been a victim of dickhead suburban cops before, but this guy deserved the smacking

All I know is if a cop is standing anywhere near my car I would first ask him "Sir what seems to be the problem". At that point a respectful dialogue would have occurred. This person looked right at the cop and proceeded to get in the car and start it. To me that is a complete disregard for a police officer. What happens later is unfortunate but none of it would have happened if the driver exercised some common courtesy. A lot young people these days walk around with a sense of entitlement that is not simply not justified.

Hmm..OK..it seems things are still a bit different here in Europe. Luckily when I lived in the US I have never been in contact with police officers - but Im warned now....my personal opinion would also be that because of all these crime bs series on TV..the atmosphere between police and average joe on the street has become worse. What else to expect--if you see 24h per day only how bad everything is...crime, drugs whaterver..
I guess this cop wanted to become like NYPD employee - officer john Mclayne - alias Bruce Willis - die hard..
Both deserve to get their lesson - to a certain degree the cop (the NYPD will certainly be charged for the material damage caused to the car - and I guess the 458 owner will have a better lawyer..)- and the owner of the 458 of course too..
The 458 was probably wondering - what the hell is going on here..everthing is not my mistake and still im getting hammered..

All I see is an über douche and a rookie cop. For what it's worth, I really don't think that guy intentionally drove over the guy's foot - and that cop was dumber than a bucket of scrap metal for trying to block the car like that. At least his brilliant injury-acting can land him a sweet gig playing Euro football . . .

sad but true ... the only sport where grown men fall on the ground and cry like babies instead of getting up and playing

are you serious? If he wanted to talk to the cop he would have done it outside the car.
I support the cop here, had I ran over a cops foot I'd expect him to beat the shit out of me.

Agreed on owner. But so what? Its a valet zone and the roided up piggy can't do something else more productive? I wasn't aware NYC crime rate is 0. I don't recall cop manuals outlining procedures to stop a car by placing your foot under the wheel. His reaction was excessive as well, banging the car up and the idiot driver? I bet if the cameras weren't on his friends would have no issue forming a stomp circle, hell why not just taser the kid to death too and shoot his girlfriend while they are at it. Only in North America. People think because some low IQ meathead gets a badge and a uniform hes to be worshiped as a demi god and respected. Cop can always run to his union which bleeds the city dry anyway if he gets in trouble for this.

Few questions
What moron tries to stop a car with his foot?
Is it illegal to drive away while receiving a parking ticket?
Do police have the right to stop you from moving your vehicle, if you're not pulled over?
Who's the bigger moron? I think both are at fault probably because of ego. The Ferrari driver appears to be invincible, and possibly disrespecting the cop. The cop appears even more invincible "I'll show him, and stop a 3400 pound car with my almighty police foot".
At no point should damage have occurred to owners property, or owner. At most -- driver should be charged with attempting to move away while being ticketed, assuming that it is in fact illegal to do so.
