Yellow is Ferrari's official color because they're based near Modena, just take a look at the Scuderia shield. Ferraris started being painted red because of that is Italy's national racing color, and it continued with their sponsorship with Marlboro.

I think - nothing) It`s Ferrari names for the main colors they usually use for their cars. And dark Grey is good for Ferrari too)

Giallo tristrato is a three layers paint, he effect is of greater depth and more vivid color,and cost lot more than giallo modena. Giallo modena is a standart paint.
The principal difference is that tristato is metallic and modena not.
