Not to thread jack.
My reference to the 355 was a matter of looks, although the car had huge performance merit when it came out... I owned one back in the days, coupe, manual, and current "refurbishing" a manual spider... As for the 458, which I have not driven, I am sure it's a tech wonder, but the looks don't do it for me at all... And it looks even worst in spider form, with those two humps quite far apart, in my opinion... The 16M looks much better, and drives more hardcore, again, in my opinion... So to answer you, I owned an F355 back then, and recently found a low mileage one-owner spider version which I drove briefly before sending it for refurbishment, while owning a 997.2 GT3 in parallel, to compare with... I did experience the Scuderia in coupe form, but not the 458... And not interested to... Not enough form me that a cat runs amazing, it's gotta look the part too... But that's me

And by the way, the 355 is one of the trickiest ferraris to drive, and a very demanding one, zero electronic aids besides ABS... In fact every single 355 in my market has been in an accident, except the one I came across...

Good info. Just like a little background. FYI in my world you can trash all the Fugly58's...Targa version even worse.

Pics or your refurbish doesn't exist

unfortunately for me i never heard a CS in real life have you heard a 360 with tubi & straight pipes irl to compare with your CS? if so, how would you describe the difference? here's a vid of my car, sorry for the annoying wind noise but you get the picture!

windy tubi - YouTube

Mike, i hear ya on refusing to drive a car so not to be further tempted this is why i am escaping from driving a 430 because i really want a 997tt as a next car; and i don't want to even take a ride in a 458 so i don't wait an extra 3 yrs

^^ The maths don't lie... you're wrong

Seriously, it's a tough choice. I just really, really prefer (and lust after) the 16M.

CS.

Sound, more classic look, less flash. I respect the engineering of the 16M. But it looks very Japanese/aftermarket to me.
