Mike, i hear ya on refusing to drive a car so not to be further tempted this is why i am escaping from driving a 430 because i really want a 997tt as a next car; and i don't want to even take a ride in a 458 so i don't wait an extra 3 yrs
For comparison when I purchased my CS originally I had the guy that did my PPI add a Capristo stage blah blah...unknown. I kept my stock exhaust for later because I knew I would want to sell it stock.

The Capristo was so quiet compared to stock I changed back the next season. It was Honda accord quiet compared.

I can't tell on a speaker in my office about your sound. On a run with Daylight and his CS with a Scud and a 16m the CS can be heard over both on the freeway.

It's louder
I've seen some in Spa-Francorchamps.

But yours does sound good!

KingVen is an unknown quantity at this point
I think a lot of people love the CS but the 16M is simply the better car in every aspect, which is why I voted for it.

Personaly i love the 16m, maybe be partial to the 16m since i have had a ride in one, but no the CS. But they both seem like great cars from my prospective.

Think your dad would suit the 16M better.

Capristo and straight pipes isn't a comparison. It would be annoying loud.

There was a CS no cat straight pipes up here that was so loud you could hear if over your car 400yards away.

Don't do straight pipes.

I can say that the CS is the best sounding Ferrari I have ever heard. Including the 599 gto's that have a pretty gnarly growl
