Test drove the 458

Very honest review, which is hard to find these days due to people not having driven an better cars, or magazines/car shows wanting Ferrari to like them and invite them to the next big event!
I totally understand where you are coming from, for that amount of cash, I can think of cars I would rather have (as a driver's car that is)
Not saying that the 458 is not a car I would love to own, it's just that I would much rather have a GT2RS, or a 16M for the more fun factor
is it an F-1 VS twin-clutch gearbox, or am I getting my information mixed up? never had a chance to drive or ride in a 458, but the scud would be hard to beat IMO
You also mentioned the spyker, that thing is phenomenal IMO, great taste
Thanks again for the great review, and I can't wait to see what you settle for

You will change your mind 50 times. Plus you need the price list to back yourself out of $94k worth of options.
Ferrari has some mental prices for some of the options, you gotta be careful b/c no one else cares about them but you. That's the beauty & the beast...

I know what spec I want for any next ride before I plan to get one:
What I have in mind, more like a plan a, plan b, plan c and plan d.
1)Matte Pearl White exterior with red interior....too gaudy on a Ferrari, more suitable on a different car.
2)TDF with Red interior, I saw a F430 Spider in that combination and I like it.
3)Paint to Sample (Metallic blue sort of like Aqua Blue) with red interior
4)Rosso Corsa with red interior and yellow stitching.

I have driven a GT2, and I have been in a spyker and a 16M, and all of these cars are sensational to me, they put a huge grin on my face

to me, it's not just how fast is a car, it's how it feels too
I LOVED driving a Lotus Exige S for example, which is not a supercar, not even close. so I am not a brand whore, I just would like to enjoy the car when I drive it, and not just show it off.
