Seriously, the only decent dealerships around here are the Aston Martin, Infiniti, and new Audi dealerships. The newest Audi place is amazing - I even met Penske at the grand opening.
I totally agree from first hand experience.

I agree, the purchase is a 40 year wedding anniversary gift for my folks, they've always dreamed over owning one, they're not the types to buy it, so i figured they won't be able to second guess if it's a gift, lol. I want to spec it just the way they've always dreamed one to be. And plus, i couldnt live with myself if I bought my folks a used car.

Chris, we're talking about the same place i have to assume, i agree with you, they are beyond horrible. I stopped in while one of my cars was in for service, I stood in the showroom for 13 minutes literally before the dumbshits even asked me a question. I hate doing it, but i had to pull the "do you know how many cars I've purchased here" card then everything changed. After that, i concluded i can live without purchasing porsches for a while, well st least not from HBL, Arlington for as much as it claims to be the good guys in town, wasn't much better. Isnt HBL penske owned too?

I tend to blame my own race, too many damn Asians just kick the tires all the time, make yellows look bad.

There's a story floating around about how the dc dealership ownership allegedly got transferred ownership because of its shady practices. A big wig went into f of Washington to help a friend buy a car and the salesman, not knowing who he was talking to, gave the guys the same runaround. Now, allegedly, said big wig showed about at a big ferrari dealership owners' get together in a helicopter with president of Ferrari spa and recommended they revoke ownership. After that, new management made it known that things would be different, but word on the street is things are back to the same.

Has anyone else heard this? Source was a Lamborghini sales guy next door (same management) lol.

The more i think about it, it boils down to this. If there are only x number of spec cars available, and I'm 1000th on the list, then fine, but don't use that to try to get me to buy 4 used ferraris and sell them back to them. I mean for those who can swing it, good for you, but shit, if bending over backwards several times is what it takes to be part of the Ferrari elite, count me out, my folks will have just as much fun in a bentley cgt or an sls, and given how much i would have to spend in their used car buying program, could probably get myself a gt3rs with the difference.

If only the 458 weren't such a nice car, i wouldn't have bothered starting is thread. Dammit. Lol. Principle vs. Lust.

Yep - since Robert left that dealership, the other guys act like I'm a pain in the ass. Uh, sorry I've purchased my 997.1, my S4, my RS4, my A3, my 997.2 from you in the last 3 years...

I am only dealing with Casey from TPC and Stoppie now. I don't mind the service side of HBL, but the sales side can kiss my hairy beanbag. I do have a great Audi sales guy there if you need a referral. FWIW, the new management at Ferrari of Washington seemed much better than before. That said, I don't know if means you can walk in and buy a new Fezza without previous history with them. Good luck!

Agreed. I would just wait a couple of months and get a barely used one for a few grand off.

I think spec'ing is over rated not tons of choices and just costs you more. Unless you want a one off color for exterior or interior go with used and send me the$ 50k or buy yourself a new watch.
