Scuderia and M6 seized for doing 120mph, to be auctioned off by Canadian Govt
#53
Where am I going wrong here??? Other than someone calling it in...other than the drivers who actually knows how fast they were going? If you are someone on the side of the road standing still...40mph is freaking fast. Is Canada different...innocent until proven guilty?????? Not guilty until proven innocent????

The reason the government can do what they like with your car is that they own it. At least in the U.K. this is true. I suspect being part of the commonwealth Canada will be the same. If you look at your registration you will see you are just the registered keeper. You signed over ownership when you 'SUBMITTED' your registration form.
Submit - "to give over or yield to the power or authority of another"
You see the law is a game of words and most people don't even realise it. When you get caught for a traffic infringement you haven't broken any actual law but broke the terms and conditions of a contract that you have not yet consented to. You consent when you agree to represent your "PERSON" which is a legal fiction by giving you name or agreeing you "UNDERSTAND" which in legal terms means stand under or give over jurisdiction.
If this interests anyone more information can be found by looking into the freeman movement.

don't know if this is real or not
I saw this as someone started another thread about it tonight

Scud was already auctioned and fetched $306k. I know it's tough to find canadian cars but sheesh.

exactly, and 120mph is nothing, these cars can cruise at 120 and it feels like 60, and can stills top faster than most car going 60. And the "speeds up to" just means its total bullshit and they at best came close to that once, but more likely never even broke 100mph. Same for the bitch that "was almost hit" On a one way road up the mountain just means they passed her and the exhaust scared her and she wasnt happy.
An incompotant woman in a mini van, benz, or range rover her sugar daddy bought her is 100x more dangerous than any person speeding with any basic sence of driving, through in a cell phone, makeup, or bratty kids and shes death on wheels, but thats socialy acceptable by envious twats that dont have a Scud or M6

Bing-freaking-o. If these guys were consciously making an effort to go that fast, they had their full attention on the road and I bet they weren't talking on their cell phones, trying to eat a sandwich, while reading the daily paper and doing those speeds. Even at 120mph, both of those cars would behave similarly to the average minivan going 60.
While it isn't the best idea in the world to push those speeds on public roads, especially where people might be meandering about, they were probably a hell of a lot safer than many other idiots out there who think it's totally acceptable to focus on anything BUT driving while they're behind the wheel of their 2 ton killing machine.

There's speeding and then there's risking the lives of your and my family. If the limit is 60 and he does 80 give him a ticket but 120mph on a public road is plain negligence. I know it may not be the popular opinion here but if a guy does that next to my wife and kid I'd take more than his car.
