My 430 test drive

South Jersey.
I heard there's a Ferrari dealership in Philly (an hour away from me). I heard that there was a lambo dealership in the Philly area as well, but this could be wrong.
Yeah, this is one of my thoughts as well. Anyone know where I can find a list of Ferrari dealerships in the US?
Hahah. I'm betting they'll quickly outgrow the backseat, those things are tiny.
How's ferrari or lamo support near you?
I'm in CT, my closest ferrari dealer is 1:25 away with traffic (fairfield) and our fairfield/westport lambo dealer went kaput. That was a big deciding factor.
Now the cool thing about the turbo, is having others along. I bring my 12 year old son into school every day, and he loves the car. If it's >45 degrees we have the top down, heat on full. Next year my other son is going to the same middle school, and I'll be taking him to. In my previous fun car, an Elise, It would be a no-go, and I would not be able to drive the car to work, ever. Now, I have them do rock paper scissors over who gets the front seat

I know, I know. Spinning wheels is cool in second gear. But you know what's cooler? Getting traction and actually accelerating.
It's not like this is 1000hp car we're talking about here. It's under 500hp and under 400 torque. It shouldn't take much to make this grip.

The 6 speed in the lambo is far better than the Ferrari... That being said a Gallardo is virtually bullitproof..

In order to figure out what car to pick up next, I flew out to Vegas for an Exotics Racing event earlier this year. In a nutshell, for around $100 per lap, they let you take out their cars on Las Vegas Speedway (set up as a road course).
That day, I drove:
- Audi R8 (V8 - no V10 was available) - Really enjoyed this car. Easy to drive, good handling, good grip. Power was a bit lacking, but that's easy enough to fix.
- Nissan GT-R - Great power, but I ultimately did not like driving this car.
- Lamborghini Gallardo - Good, but not great. Terrible ergonomics, many design issues.
- Ferrari 430 Scuderia - Easily better than the plain 430. Sharper and tighter.
- Ferrari 458 Italia - I loved it. Everything was right about this car. Although I prefer AWD over RWD, this car stuck to the course, offered the right amount of performance, and everything felt right from the driver's seat. Finally, an entry level Ferrari without compromise.
They were all flappy paddles as no manual transmissions were available.
At the end of the day, the 458 was easily my favorite car. While I would love to own one, I simply can't afford it. Fortunately, my second favorite car was the R8, which is only a fraction of the price. I think I've finally found my next car.
