Im one of the 1st in line for the spyder, but thats like 2 years away to delivery.
And the main reason im tempted with the hardtop 458, its because mine will be the 1st batch and im sure i wont lose money on it even if i drive it around for a year. I remember clearly we all had to pay premiums for the 430 when it first came out let alone this super hyped up 458.
Plus i get to spec out my 458 right now to some awesomely shocking interior!

and by the end of 2011, i already be done driving my 458 for a year and have seen pics of the spyder version and can trade for that with minimum lose.
U see, with the 458 i can be completely non-emotional and actually think its an OK investment, because i dont like how it looks.

 

a friend will have one in 2 months, we will see.
but besides a CGT i dont think i'll ever get another 911 over a ferrari.

 

i cant get the 458 to config anything like my scud's interior, is this too much to ask???!!!!

 

Configure it White with a dark grey/black alcantara interior, yellow accents/stitching and carbon fiber. Dark grey/black wheels yellow calipers. That will flow better with the yellow shields/yellow tach. Too many colors make things too busy.

 

I think this suites what you want in a 458 ?

Exterior either Bianco Avus or Bianco Fuji, I like Fuji more it looks more specia

This is the combo, but I think it needs the dark 5 spokes a la 16m style which arent available on the configurator

^ Keep the scud, wait for the hype to die down, or the Spyder. IMO

 

I really like the colour combination of your Scud, how would the exact copy in a F458 look with Tour De France Blue exterior or white. Exterior wise it would look conservative might spice it up with gray 16m rims, red brakes.
