Nice review and I agree Porsche is doing it with 100k USD less than the 458. That's huge. He was very quick to say how much faster and easier the 458 was to drive and that's what the world wants. Faster and Quicker with less input. While the 6 speed and actually driving is fantastic you can't blame Ferrari for All F1's now and Porsche soon to be all paddle themselves......

Wow what a review of two special cars. You really don't get the feel that one is better than the other and you walk away genuinely wanting both equally. I found it ironic that he brought up the MacF1 in comparison to speed to the 458, but I think philosophically the F1 aligns more-so with the Porsche in it's strive to strip away anything that inhibits the connection between driver and car.

 

He brought up the F1 to point out that he originally thought that no car would ever achieve sub 7s to 100 acceleration after it, but that the 458 just might.

 

"Is it really worth $200 grand? Ya! Go sell your house."

 

I need a GT3RS instead of coffee in the morning!
