just the fact that the porsche costs half of what the 458 does and competes toe and toe with the 458 speaks volumes about the porsche to me

Chris Harris concludes his segment with saying that the final picture says more than words ever could about these two cars; and what was that? That the 458 was behind the GT3 RS?

Love both cars very much but the 458 is just perfection to me...

Great review and clip! Chris Harris is great when it comes to reviewing cars. I wish I had the same job as he has and test all those cars. What great fun it must be!

This video is one of the greatest car reviews I ever saw. Chapeau to Chris Harris.

I have to say that I have the deepest respect to the abilities of either car, but it would be the Ferrari 458 for me anytime. I can't really explain why, but anytime I'm near a Ferrari (a "proper" one, so no Mondial/348 etc, sorry), I feel a kind of unique sensation (nothing sexually, it's something else), and that just doesn't happen with other cars. I like the 911 very much and I'm proud it's from Germany, but I don't love it like I do Ferraris.

458 looks incredible, the inside of that car - seats, steering wheel, dash, everything at least in the pictures are the finest of any car i have seen. It sounds glorious too. Although Chris seems to rave about the noise of the RS i find it a little quiet and refined from inside the cabin (although very loud from the outside!). Went in the CSL yesterday and that with its supersprint sounds a right animal on the inside compared to toe RS.
Got to say the both of them would be a dream garage right now. In black i think i like it more than the macca. Both the Macca and the Fezza are very different cars to the RS though.

Another great Chris Harris road test, when are we going to see this guy on TV.
Simplicity and price make the RS my choose of the two, just.

Now wouldn't the American version of Top Gear (it's on again, right? ) have been a killer proposition if Seinfeld, Leno, and Harris were the presenters?

Why would Chris be an american presenter? He's pretty much all-British!
