I will never knock a Ferrari, they are some of the best cars in the world, but they seem to be running out of REAL drivers. It kills me that people are so lazy now that they won't drive a real MANUAL transmission and car makers have to make these beastly cars automatic.

I am not so sure it has to do with lazines... some drivers maybe. I am a die-hard manual transmission fan, but the fact of the matter is these cars have become so fast and so advanced, the manual transmission became one of the weak links. A proper SMG or DCT is simply faster, and when your mission is fastest, they are the transmission of choice.

That said I wished they offered a manual trans option, for those of us that will sacrifice a few tenths for some more involvement and fun. But people like us are only ~1%. Most want the fastest and most high tech trans available.
