Really appreciate the buyers guide and follow up. Is it permitted to request the name of your Ferrari mechanic and would he work on my 360 spider?

I am also a 911 GT2 owner looking to buy my first Ferrari, most likely in Australia. I'm considering the 360 CS, but would prefer a manual gearbox though. Any thoughts on using the CS as a semi-daily runner? Too harsh? Too expensive to maintain?

Our local expert on teh CS is h20Skier. He owns one - as well as a Scud and an F430 Spyder. You may want to ask him.

I can PM you my other sources.

This is a great thread because it's informative, timely, and fun to read. The 360 Modena has matured gracefully. It's more aesthetically pleasing than a 430.

Saw a red/tan 360 spider in AZ a few weeks ago with modular wheels, shields, tan roll bar. BEAUTIFUL! A lot of car for the $$.

Thanks guys. This guide has appeared to help a lot of folks in their search for a solid used Ferrari.

That is very gratifying.

I will update it soon. It has been more than a year.

I have some more useful information.

The car still runs great and I am really enjoying it.

Still want an F430 though. Ha Ha!
