Lamborghini Huracan Decimates 800hp BMW in a Drag Race

For the longest time, Lamborghinis have just been all about being loud, brash, and shouty. They were more about the show than the go. However, in recent years, that has completely changed, and the new Lamborghinis are some of the fastest cars on the planet.

This turnaround is largely thanks to VW’s contributions and Audi’s crack team of engineers. But it is truly staggering to see where Lamborghini was just a decade ago, where it is now, and where it could go in the future.

With that said, the latest raging bull, the Huracan, is perhaps the best Lamborghini to date. And possibly the quickest one as well, as you are about to see. The video below was taken at a Russian drag race event where a new Huracan came up against some highly tuned weapons of mass destruction. Chief among them, an 800-horsepower BMW M6.

As you’ll see, the Lamborghini essentially just walks away from the higher-horsepower BMW. This is largely due to how the power is put down, as well as the much lower weight in the Lamborghini. Just watch and enjoy the sound of a naturally aspirated V10 motor wailing.
