The Next Evolution of Bugatti: the Vision Gran Turismo Concept

When one mentions the word “Veyron,” everyone knows what car you are talking about. Sure there are cars that have been built faster, but none have had the celebrity of the latest creation by Bugatti. Now that the Veyron is out of production though, it’s successor has been confirmed.

Though the real deal is supposed to debut at the Frankfurt auto show on September 17th, us simple folk can get a first taste through the Vision Gran Turismo concept in the Gran Turismo video game, just not quite yet. It is being released at an unspecified date, likely to be that of the Frankfurt debut mentioned above.

The design, though, is unmistakable in its Bugatti heritage, quite similar in shape to the Veryon, but closer inspection reveals a lot of new shapes that adorn the bug. A wholly new rear end is one of the biggest style departures from the old car, featuring a singular strip tail light that brackets the entire width of the rear end. Inside is no-nonsense, with a very bare, but eye-pleasing cabin.

Just how many of these details will make it to the full version is yet to be known.
