Bentley Debuts Sleek Blackout Overhaul for Flying Spur
Blackline trim offers stylish black accents around Bentley Flying Spur exterior all the way down to the iconic hood emblem.
The Bentley blackline trim is thriving in sales with the Continental GT. According to Bentley, over 30% of all Continental GTs sold in the last year were sold with the blackline option. With the current love for blacked-out badging, it only makes sense for Bentley to further its availability.
Expand it, they have. Bentley announced early in early October that the Blackline trim is now available on the iconic Flying Spur. The big and beautiful four-door is getting a dark and modern twist. Rightfully so, as Bentley continues to modernize.
The Blackline package blacks out a multitude of exterior components. The radiator vanes, matrix grilles, side window surrounds, and lower door and rear bumper blades get the treatment. Additionally, the front and rear light bezels, door handles, wing vents, and the exhaust outlets also receive the same distinguished, darkened treatment. Most notable, though, is the legendary flying B emblem.
The all-new Flying Spur sports leather seats available in 15 different colors. The center console houses a customizable 12.3-inch HD touchscreen and sculpted vents, as well as wireless phone charging.
Standard on the Blackline is 21” five tri-spoke alloy wheels, and 22” Mulliner Driving Specification wheels are also optional. There are 17 available standard color options, and 13 available ‘extended range’ colors may also be purchased.
Though the flying spur is big and plush, it does not lack in the performance department. It is, of course, outfitted with the legendary Bentley 6.0 Liter twin-turbo W12 engine. Sporting 626 horsepower, the big cruiser sprints to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. With a top speed of 207 mph, the Flying Spur is the pinnacle of performance in a big luxury sedan.
The Blackline option adds $4,735 to the price of your Flying Spur before taxes in the US. Though, that does not include any other options such as wheels or paint options.
Overall the new rendition of the Flying Spur looks like an outstanding continuation of the model’s legacy. It’s maintaining the luxury and style combined with power and performance we have always seen from the four-door Bentley. We look forward to seeing these on the road.
