Sorry Hani, I do need to get to it soon. I'll post pics when I do. Any ideas for the design?

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
I have a great idea! Mail me 3 of them, so my DeepSea and other 2 watches are always wound up. I will gladly put them to good use.

You could do something like a "book"...2 sides of 6 each and hinge them together?

Is this what we are talking about

Product Description
The programmable winder module makes it easy for fabricators to design and build a custom winder system for a closet, safe or any special storage area. They are completely self contained units and operate on low voltage, readily available alkaline batteries. With battery life measured in years, not months, there is no need for installing any high voltage electrical house wiring.

Installation is quick and easy. Using a panel with a thickness of 3/8" (10mm), all that is needed is a bored 3-3/8" diameter hole for each module. The module is inserted from the rear of the panel and held in place with 4 - 3/8" (10mm) wood or sheet metal screws. Panels can be of heavier construction if desired. Simply machine a "pocket" which is 4" x 4" for each unit leaving a 3/8" wall thickness.

The Programmable module is supplied fully assembled. All that is required is to connect the two 48" lead wires (red and black color) of each module to a 6 VDC battery holder. Each module is fully programmable for turns per day (TPD).
Orbita Programmable panels may be mounted vertically or tilted back 5 to 10 for fail-safe operation in the event that mounting cups are not positioned correctly.
The Modules can be mounted on a 4" x 4" grid although the 6" grid shown on the first photo below provides adequate space for battery holders.
Operation is virtually silent and there is absolutely no maintenance required.
The Programmable Modules are guaranteed for 2 years operation but are designed to easily provide 8-10 years of life without attention.

Yes, those are the modules, but the enclosure has to fit inside the safe, so it can't be too tall. I have to measure and see exactly how much room I have.
