AP ROO Owners, talk to me.

Not half as ghey as thinking you are a funny guy on a message forum.

I like where this is going...
I don't own one, but if I did, I would wear it with jeans or shorts and a tee or polo, period. IMHO, these watches are too large to be worn with a suit. Well, the ROO's are; the RO would look nice paired with a suit or business casual.

I'm not sure people who own ROO's have the need for suits.

RO is a classier watch, could worn either up or down and isn't as brandish as the ROO. ROO only has one option, which is dressed down in a very casual situation. It's just too bulky to be worn anywhere else. I don't like either and there are plenty of better option for that price range.

My whole collection is clean conservative, looking for a fun different piece, hence the AP. Going back tomorrow to try it again.

I just picked up an AP diver. Don't really wear suits except for a wedding and maybe not even then. Not a very stylish guy so would not know what I can or cant wear my watches with
. The AP's you have listed are very nice, but f.or a watch to cost over 30k, I would first look at an IWC perp calendar, or VC or PP with nice complications. The AP's have a look and design quality that I am drawn too, but they do lack complications at their price point. For a ROO I would get a Diver, Panda, Safari, or Navy, but all of these are attainable for under 20k. Not willing to pay an extra 10k or more for some carbon or Ti.

2) I wear it on a daily basis alternating with a few other watches; whatever matches my getup for that day the best.
I would love to get a AP Gran Prix, but it's just too much money for 1 watch on a single wrist. Just a personal preference, but I just can't justify spending over 15k on a wrist...I suppose it's all relative. i'm just an avg joe, I bought my ROOs used.

Don't think i'd purchase the ROO - too many pointless "limited editions" for a movement that's not exactly amazing.
The Royal Oak though, that's a stunning design. I still love the perpetual skeleton, it's my grail piece.
