Don't be so sure; I see people (especially my age... but that figures) running around with the LV bags trying to pass them off as real.

These people want to be "at the top" at any cost - and they're willing to endure the sneers, laughs, and everything else just for that one time when someone is impressed/fooled.

No one is fooled by their crap, and no one is impressed. Besides, even if it were real, why would a high school student have one (and by the way my school's halls look, you'd think I lived in Beverly Hills)? It doesn't make any sense!
