That doesn't mean it was fake; I wouldn't take my watch off for some dude I just met.

 

I could have been wrong, he was just very weird about it, like he was trying to hide something. I also left out a piece of the story which led me to believe it was either stolen or BS. He's like I get one nice watch a year, buy it on ebay, say I never got it then its free, I was like umm ok!?

I honestly would have said something to the extent of "why you wearing a fake", or "hope you got a receipt cause its not real".

Call me weird but the fake thing doesn't piss me off like it does some guys on here. I guess I really don't care. Lets be honest... spending 10k for a watch is pretty stupid. A $100 Casio will tell time just like a $15k AP. Both do the same thing. One is hand made, one is made by machines made by other machines that someone made with their hands.

I guess I just consider myself lucky that I can afford something nice and if someone else can't, then I shouldn't be upset that they can't afford the real thing.

Now if this guy was bragging about it in public, then you need to lay the public humiliation smack down on him.

Thats because a watch for $10k would be a real piece of shit. If they don't cost at least $50k, I don't even look at them.
