Sweet. But as I can only have one bottomless money pit in which to throw my money (i.e. cars), I can't/shouldn't/won't start 'modding' watches on my own. I would, however, consider buying one already done. I like ljg's base watch. I'd just change it up with the orange hands.
ljg, where'd you get yours or did you do it yourself?

My watch is a SKX007. I bought a new one to mod but soon after found my modded one on watchuseek. The guy I bought from had the mods (yobokies hands, domed crystal, PO bezel, custom milled/painted crown) done professionally. With patience some mods can be done with the right tools, but there are a few people/companies that do it for a relatively small fee.
Looking at your pics again, I really like the painted crown. Cool little detail.

Haha. I did the same for a couple of weeks, missed out on some nice pieces. Got real lucky when I found mine. Keep on the lookout, things move very quickly.

I have a couple Seiko's and recently had my Black Monster repaired to fix the seconds hand from sticking. Have seen the modded ones and starting to itch to have mine modded. I have a Maratac strap on it that widens out to 24mm. Subtle, but the wider strap fits the watch better IMHO.
