I totally love the Jaeger, fantastic watch.

I don't get why everyone is so crazy about the daytona in general though. I think I'm missing something about it maybe, but it seems that a lot of people have it, and who doens't have it want's to have. I on the other hand don't get any of that buzz. Please enlighten me

Yeah, Stryke has it on here for that. Best Ive seen so far, except 1 guy I know said he can get it for less so Im waiting to hear from him and a few friends of mine looking into finding me a better deal.



Thanks, yes I actually like the Jaeger more. In person it is such a gorgeous, clean and classic looking piece.

The daytona was the first watch I wanted. I had a client who has the SS version w/ black face and I just loved it. The more I learn about watch companies and the watches themselves the less I like it. But it does have such a classic sports watch design, but I find its more about the name "ROLEX". It feels more like most wear it cause its a status symbol. My brother has the gold daytona with a black face which is gorgeous but just way to flashy for me, that is why I like the white gold as well as the black face is a flat black and the red markings are very sporty.

No, I didnt...but I see you noticed its different than in the picture. Im looking into that. I see some that have the bezel I have and some that have the one in the picture

 

Whoever polished that Daytona Bezel is blind. Nice beginnings though and good thoughts going fwd.

 

The Daytona is an iconic piece any collector should always have one in the collection it a foundation piece, who cares how many people have them.
