i thought since we have a lot of married guys here, why not make this thread a reference for where to start or what to look at for when getting our better halves "stuff"?
the ladies can definitely help out as well

because let's face it, every time we search for things online to shortlist for viewing in real, we end up shortlisting stuff for ourselves (as well) so hopefully this thread can survive and we can make something out of it

alhambra tiger ring (iirc from the catalogue 7g yg, 0.6c)
alhambra tiger earrings, prefer the single motif but the dangling 2 motif can be good for future additions?

the butterfly necklace is especially nice, but i already got her a vca necklace and think this would be not so/as useful


edit: i am definitely set on the ring, wish to find more variations (prefer to have it in tiger alhambra to go with the necklace)

just started looking... Hit up blue nile,tiff,costc,etc... Size is the other issue, wifey does not have dumbo ears so have been warned that too big will look stupid.

to be honest, i enjoyed browsing today
i know a bit about diamonds, and coming from watches, i claim to know a few things about setting and finishing. so it's a nice visual experience, before the number crunching starts it really was an issue of trying to imagine a "purpose" for this stuff, than actually finding pieces that i know she would like or pick herself.
for example, with bags, i was totally lost and will take one of my sisters with me because i just am clueless as to what makes a bag "better" than the other.

i agree, big earrings aren't for everyone and that is why i like the 2 motif VCA model for future-purposes, and not necessarily design.
personally prefer other-than-just-diamonds, so that is why i was wondering what styles you're looking at
