The Gentleman's Thread: Buying Your Wife Stuff

You like what? I am looking at some simple studs...

sorry bro, was referring to those:
2 different types of pattern

but i prefer those below, because they would make a nice addition to the ring i am almost-set on (above, with the little diamond) + the necklace she has

In the past I've done some of the tiffany stuff. I'm actually really bad at coming up with stuff on the fly to get her so hopefully this thread will give some ideas. My wife isn't so much into gold and likes smaller earrings and other stuff in silver.
The charm type stuff below but changeable for whatever occasion (martini for going out, sandals for the beach, etc...) on a necklace instead of a messy bracelet with 50 of them.

have been a huge fan of your products for well over 5 years bro, since back on 6speed! if i was in the US i would definitely get some work done with you
what do you make of "designer" jewellery? for example, the van cleef & arpels ring i showed above retails for around $3.1k, and i think it's a good deal given not only the design, but also the peace of mind and the fact that they picked the stones for me. but is it really a good price?
same goes for shopping at cartier, piaget, and the sort.
how much are we really paying extra just for the brand?
over here, there are a lot of well-known jewellers, but i am not a fan of their setting nor their rings. they do seem to me, as a man, to be 2nd rate
ktvegas, wow tamsen z is crazy
first time i know of them and i love some of the rings, very elegant mix of stones.
how can i know more about pricing?
everything else looks good but imo is over the top for my wife's style (and my preference).
ippolita was working fine but now i am getting errors when i browse.
thanks for the input, i'll need your help in a few days when i go looking for bags and come back to help decide
why do i get the impression you guys think we're all whipped?
like i said, it really IS enjoyable shopping for your wife
i just have a lot of things to look for because i have 3 occasions back-to-back, and can use all the help i can get from guys like me who know what makes a good polish on a watch, or fine stitching in a car's interior, and thus will appreciate women's jewellery
very nice! did you know she was into it or did you just assume she would like it?
my wife is not into watches at all, that would have made my life so much easier
