Well, I finally got the $$ from the sale of my AP Rubberclad, so ready to buy the replacement. After owning quite a few different brands, going back to Rolex as it's the easiest brand to sell later on (I change them every few years) and since I want gold in it, I have narrowed it down to this:

Daytona Yellow Gold, 116518 model (Rolex movement, "fat hands", Rolex engraved in the inner bezel), white dial (preferably Panda or Newman), has to have box and papers, mint shape.

Yes, I was considering other models ( Which one of these Rolexes would you pick and why? - 6speedonline.com Forums ) , but those are new and going the used route will help soften the blow on the major loss I took on the AP.

Anyone has one laying around that is not getting much use? If so, please let me know what you want for it to see if we can reach an agreement.

 

Any leads? Someone here must have one or know of someone that has one that would like to part with it, no?

I tried Gil (Stryke), but so far, no luck. He can get me one new, but due to budget constratints (I don't want to be spending time in the LV Boutique down here!! ), I need to buy second hand...
