VC production delay

VC production delay
Ordered a VC Overseas Chrono back on March 10th from an authorized dealer. On April 19th I was informed of a price increase (+$1600) and just yesterday received this email: "The factory has a delay in acquiring some components for this watch. The delivery for your Vacheron is now September. I truly apologize for this inconvenience".
Anyone else having issues like this? Hell, I had Ruf build me a complete car once in less time than this!!

Thanks... maybe my aggressive price negotiation sent me to the back of the line! I really didn't think those things were made to order... fully expected it to come from inventory. Wouldn't you think they would do a 'dealer exchange', like the car business? Other ADs have them on display... very odd.
