Any downside to buying from a REPUTABLE non-AD ?

I have always bought watches from an AD. I wanted to know if there is a downside from buying from a REPUTABLE non AD ?

Do you still get the full factory warranty as long as you have all the books, papers and warranty card ?

Should the card be stamped by the AD the non AD gets it from or is it OK to be unstamped ?

Thanks for the help

Honestly, what's the % you're saving by NOT going with a AD?

In most cases, the personal service and availability is much better. Also, in some cases where the dealer has partnerships with AD's you get all warranties, etc. I'd be happy to elaborate more by phone if you'd like to discuss.
