Limited Edition / 90 Watches / JH 687 Manual Winding

Since starting the successful Archimede Pilot series there has been increasing requests from our customers for a version in the original design of the old B-Watches: no calendar, no brand name. In 2005 we discovered a small quantity of the historic manual winding Junghans 687 movements. We decided immediately to buy them and offer the 'Pilot Original' with a German made movement, which is no longer in production.
It took us almost two years to have everything prepared and manufactured: The cases (D=42mm, TH=10mm) with a solid case back, the dials in the historic design, blue minute and hour hand with white Super Luminova. The blue second hand is also luminous.
The basic movement of the 11 1/2''' '687' is the 'Junghans 87', which was developed in 1956. Our movement is a successor and was manufactured from 1961 to 1969. It was one of the last mechanical movements produced by Junghans.

The movements are 40+ years old and were manufactured with the best possible precision at that time. We carefully disassembled, cleaned and regulated them to achieve best possible accuracy for these
historical movements.

There will only be 90 of this limited edition available.
