Can't go wrong with a Hamilton. I've had my Jazzmaster for 3 years and it's still going strong. For $500 it's a bargain too, wow.

Changed my mind. I didn't realize the first Hamilton I ordered was a quartz movement so that one is on the way but I am going to send it back when it gets here and I just ordered this one today. Still a great value, and I know he will love it!

42mm. I have small wrists. And I realize that picture is the 46mm now that you mention it. Virtually the same thing though. I was trying to decide between this and the Steinhart Aviation which I really like, but at 44mm and being square I didn't think it would look as good on my wrist. Might still buy it for myself later though!
