Inspired by the amazing success of the first Luminox Tony Kanaan Limited Edition watch, the famous Indy Racing League champion driver and the highly-reputed watch brand are pleased to unveil the second version of the timepiece.

As Tony changed the colors of his helmet, the new version of the Luminox Tony Kanaan Limited Edition watch now demonstrates different colors on the dial - green and yellow. You will notice the Tony Kanaan logo at 4 o'clock.



The Luminox designers have closely cooperated with the celebrity driver to create a brand new wristwatch. As a result, the Tony Kanaan watch boasts a new sandwich case to be used as the platform for all other Tony Kanaan timepieces to be introduced in the future. The Brazilian race car driver approved every aspect of the wristwatch, having followed every stage of the design and production process.

It is also important to mention that the Luminox Tony Kanaan watch has maintained all the signature features of other Luminox timepieces, in particular the Luminox Light Technology to guarantee perfect visibility and continuous illumination.

The asymmetrical case of the Luminox watch measures 44 mm in diameter and is rendered in stainless steel. As for the bezel, its steel surface is provided with black PVD coating and it is fixed by 6 steel screws. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant. Its face is shielded by a sapphire crystal provided with antireflective coating.

The case is coupled with an integrated, racing tire-pattern rubber strap or a padded black leather strap featuring contrast stitching.

The heart of the Luminox watch is a Swiss quartz chronograph movement offering a big date complication presented at 6 o'clock.

The second version of the Luminox Tony Kanaan Limited Edition watch is expected to be launched in November 2010 in a limited edition of 1,999 pieces for the price of 950 US dollars.

Tony Kanaan highly appreciates the first wristwatch he created together with Luminox. "Design, performance and precision - I feel like my wristwatch is a part of me when I wear it," Kanaan said. The brand and the driver promise to continue their cooperation and come up with three other Tony Kanaan-inspired wristwatches.
