Watch Winders

So I'd say with just 1-4 watches I totally agree with you. Otherwise I've got two Orbitas and think they are good

If you are just building your watch collection - e.g., 1-4 watches like Mark says - then you don't really need a winder.
Orbita winders are very expensive - usually around $5,000 for a winder for 6 watches.
For the price of a good Orbita winder you could buy another pretty nice watch.
Wait until you have 10 -12 watches before seriously looking into investing in an Orbita.
I have 12 watches and couldn't live without the winder. But until I got to 10 watches, I didn't use one.
Just my 2 cents.

bah...i'm not big on winders...when I wind and set my watch I use that time to think about my upcoming day, etc...only takes a minute or so for most watches...Butrisster is just too lazy and far too bourgeois to wind his own watch...

Marc there is a lot of truth here but it turns into a pain in the ars if you are always putting one on and constantly having to remember how to reset all of it. On your note tho I've got 18 watches on Winders and have to reset them by at least 1 day on the calendar and the time is always a touch off almost everytime I grab one because I rotate them slower than 30 days.
