I stick with Seiko and Citizen... Never owned a Nixon or a Fossil.
I'm old fashioned, my dad used to tell me Seiko made some of the best watches and it just stuck with me. Plus, I can only wear titanium and they have a large variety.

I've never owned a Fossil, so I'm not sure of the quality, feel, etc, but I love the Nixon that I have and I've never had a single issue with it . I have the 51-30 with the rubber strap, which I like better than the bracelet style.
The 51-30 is a big watch, but it does look really good. The design is pretty simple, almost has a B&R type look. If you dont mind a larger faced watch then go for the 51-30. you should be able to find one online for around, or under $300. I think I paid $270 for mine.
I also have a Breitling Super Ocean which I thought was a huge watch till I got my Nixon.
Post some pics if you get one, they're not the mot expensive watches, but for the money you get a really great looking watch.
Here's some pics for reference.

Sorry for going off topic Jon, I do like the watch you linked and a few others on the Fossil site. If you pick one up be sure to post your impressions...
