Definitely a Speedmaster. Go vintage, pre 1968, and you get the same base movement as the $60,000+ Patek 5070 chronograph.

I would go with a Rolex (GMT, Submariner, or Explorer II) but you can find Cartier at that price too...

Ballon bleu

Pasha

Santos 100

I feel the advantage with the Cartier is that it dose not look odd when worn in a formal setting (except for the rubber strapped one )

If you don't go with a Rolex sub or GMT, then buy a used Panerai, TAG, Brietling, etc that sell for less that half of what they cost new, even if they are in perfect, mint condition.
I already have an Explorer II as a daily and I want a different brand. Only other Rolex I would buy would be Daytona SS Black Dial but that will have to wait for a while !

Thanks but never been an Omega fan don't know why actually...

If I go with Tag, it would be monaco gulf racing limited edition and but I still can't justify that much money on a tag when there are such incredible choices as you guys pointed out !

Today I spent my entire day walking through one dealer to another to search for my ideal watch and to be honest It was really exhausting after a while.

After many watches I tried on, including ; Panerai, Bulgari, Hublot, Breitling, Chopard and etc. I narrowed my search to 2 models.

First choice,

Chopard 1000 Miglia Chronograph 2009 ( Limited Edition )

This watch looked incredibly elegant and sporty at the same time thanks to its tire thread strap and the dial color was very unique. Being a limited edition was a bonus too and they have only brought "1" to the country. Although the dealer didn't give me a good deal. the lowest I got them going was $4100 which I thought was fair enough untill I got home and checked the prices online and found the same watch for $3100 on amazon... damn !

second choice,

Breitling Navitimer,

Never owned a breitling before and normally I don't like their bold big watches but this narrow bezel chrono looked classy as well although it doesn't have any motorsport or automobile influence which is a minus for me ..

I think I'll go with the Chopard but I don't wanna pay almost a grand more to have the same watch.. Can anyone direct me in the right direction to have a deal on one of those ?

You could always try Stryke and see if he can get you a Chopard... Great looking watch, btw!
